I bought a cutting vegetables box for my granddaughter's second birthday. The age recommendation was 3+, but I bought it as she had played with a similar set at a friend's house and loved it. Emily received a play cooker and was very excited when she opened her vegetable box. With a little help she soon got the idea and was totally absorbed chopping vegetables, putting them in her new saucepan and cooking us soup. What a success! As a former Nursery teacher I was very impressed with the set. There is a good variety of well made, easy to hold vegetables, a chunky knife and cutting board and a well designed box and lid to store it all I would definitely recommend this and also the cutting fruit box.
