I bought this toy for my 11 month old daughter as she was starting to post pegs and things. She loves it and it's just right for her hand size and learning level. I like it because although it's attractive and colourful it doesn't have distracting bells and whistles. It's sturdy and is withstanding all the bashing she's giving it and it's easy to get the shapes out again.
