Story Cubes

A stimulating resource for higher grades of ESL [English Second Language] learners. From initial discussion of the icons to development of story lines, language used was focused, fluent, varied and enjoyed. Enough cubes for two groups to operate at once. Also helped as memory aids when writing the story lines.

Think these are brilliant! Easy to pack for holidays or in the car. Great for prompting everyones imagination!

We haven't tried this yet, as we ordered it for Christmas, but it promises to be a good educational toy to help fire children's imagination, and bring the different ages together from toddlers, through older children and even up to adults. My three year old loves books and is starting to explore narrative - particularly with long-winded and complicated 'joke' telling at the moment, so I am hoping these will help inspire the creation of many exciting new stories, help develop his English literature and language skills in a fun and creative way, and liven up story time. I've given it four stars because we have not actually tried the product out yet, but fully expect it to prove to be a five-star purchase when we do.
