Delivery Charges

The table below shows our delivery charges for mainland UK delivery addresses.  All charges assume delivery to one address in the UK.   For delivery overseas please see our Overseas Delivery section below.  

*Delivery to the Channel Isles is now at the same UK rates as shown in the table above, we do not however refund the VAT for Channel Isles orders because of the extra delivery costs incurred. **Sorry but all orders to Northern Ireland, the Scilly Isles and the Isle of Man are not eligible for Free Delivery and incur a flat delivery charge of £4.99 - a contribution to the significantly higher costs we ourselves are charged for these areas.  For orders to BFPO we charge delivery at cost + £2.50 administration fee - please phone us for a quote.

We endevour to despatch all orders as quickly as possible, usually within 2 working days of receipt.   However if your order is needed for an imminent birthday or christening,  please tell us the date required in the comments section of the shopping basket, email or phone us and we will do everything possible to ensure we meet your deadline.

We will despatch your order using either a Royal Mail or Parcel Force delivery service.  Once your order leaves us we use a 48 hour delivery service in the UK (a little slower to the Highlands of Scotland), a Royal Mail Tracked service or Royal Mail First Class post. PLEASE NOTE - Larger orders (those not sent by Royal Mail ) will require a signature.  We are able to send orders on a next day (Express Delivery) service, please see below for details.  Orders to other countries are despatched just as quickly and arrive as fast as their national postal services allow.

If you are likely to be out when your order is due to be delivered, we suggest you give an alternative delivery address, such as a work address, or use the comments section of the order to add a neighbour as a back up.  Please do NOT ask for orders to be left in the open, by the dustbin or worse still in the dustbin.  We have known orders to be delivered on bin day and never seen again! 

Express Delivery

We offer a next day (24 hr) delivery service for mainland UK delivery addresses for a flat charge of £10.  If you wish to select our EXPRESS DELIVERY service, please tick the tick-box on the Delivery and Payment screen when you place an order.  Please note, express delivery orders must be placed before 1 pm to ensure same-day despatch.  Orders placed after this point may not be despatched until the following day.  Note also that orders placed after 1 pm Thursday will be despatched on Friday for a Monday delivery (or the next working day if it's a bank holiday). Orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will be despatched on the Monday for delivery on Tuesday.  Sorry but Express Delivery is not available to some of the more remote parts of the UK, such as the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.

Overseas Delivery

The following table gives our delivery prices to certain overseas countries and territories, using a fully trackable, ParcelForce Euro 48 hour service.  Maximum weight depends on the territory.

Orders to overseas countries are despatched just as quickly and arrive as fast as their national delivery services allow.

We can also send orders to many other counties, such as Australia and New Zealand, and can provide a quote for delivery upon request.  To request a delivery quote, please create an order and select the address and country you would like us to post it to.  We will then email you back with a delivery quote which will include instructions on how you can then place your order.  ** We regret however WE DO NOT DESPATCH ORDERS TO USA or CANADA. 

We are happy to send orders placed anywhere in the world to UK addresses where our standard delivery prices apply.

PLEASE NOTE - WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYMENT BY PAYPAL WHERE AN ORDER IS TO BE DESPATCHED TO A FORWARDING AGENT. 

Local to us?

If you are local to our warehouse in Horsham, West Sussex, we are happy for you to collect your order and save paying any delivery charge. Simply enter the code COLLECT in the Discount Code box on the Delivery and Payment page just before you enter your payment card/paypal details. Please state when you would like to collect your order in the delivery instructions box (on the same page), allowing 24 hours for us to get your order ready.  We will make sure your order is ready for then - so all you need do is come in and collect!  If you need your order sooner than 24 hours please place your order as normal and phone us and we can have it ready for you.  Please click here for our address or to see a map showing where we're based.

Gift Wrapping

We will be happy to gift wrap your order, where feasible, for an additional £3.00 per item.  (Please note some items are too large to wrap, but these are generally noted in their descriptions.  Gift wrapping will be with a good quality paper).  If you would like us to include a message with your gift, please give the wording in the comments section on the order form or phone us on +44 (0)1403 790796
