If our website doesn't behave as you would expect, especially the basket or payment pages, it could be that you are using an old internet browser.  Our website complies with all the very latest requirements for website security and complies with TLS v1.2, mandatory for websites that accept payments.  Older versions of browsers are not compliant with this new security standard and unfortunately this means that our website will not work properly in older browser versions.  You may be able to browse products, but not order.  Broadly, if you have not updated your browser for the last two to three years the secure part of our site probably won't work for you.

Browsers - e.g. Edge, Safari, Chrome, Firefox - are the programs you use to look at the internet. Dependent on the age of your device or when you last upgraded your browser, you may have an old browser version. To check if your browser is current follow this link: whatismybrowser.com. This opens a third party website that will tell you immediately your browser version and if it's up to date or not.  If it's not we recommend either

1. If you already have an alternative browser, try that
2. Upgrade your existing browser (usually a free and straightforward service, see below for help on this), or
3. Use a different device (eg different phone, tablet or computer).

Upgrading your existing browser

Upgrading your existing browser should be free and fairly straightforward.  To upgrade, first establish which browser you are currently using (use the link above if unsure).  Then click on the relevant link below - this opens up a website from where you will be able to upgrade your browser:

• Safari (for Mac users)

Note that after upgrading you may need to restart your computer before the upgrade takes effect.  As soon as you have done this, come back to our website - you should now be able to place your order with us.
